Since 2001 OWLS has offered world-class experiential education program opportunities for guests and clients of Big Sky Resort, our Northern Rockies Headquarters.
Focusing on executive leadership development, managing change, staff development, communication, and fun. Groups of all sizes can participate in Problem Solving Initiatives, a High Ropes Course with 9 elements (Built in June 2010), or Adventure Based Team Building Activities. The activities provide practical tools that focus on individual and team performance.
Big Sky Resort, is collaborating with Organizational Wide Leadership Solutions to provide these professional, experiential programs for their guests. Let the experienced staff of OWLS design a conference retreat event to be never forgotten. Many of these team building programs integrate well with other retreat activities. All course and design proposals are free of charge and individualized based on the needs of each organization.
Big Sky Resort is Montana’s leading summer and winter destination, brimming with wildlife, stunning views, stellar service and the finest amenities in the State. Located just 18 miles from the northwest border of Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky offers seemingly endless alpine activities. During summer season (early June through early October), visitors enjoy golfing the 18-hole Arnold Palmer-designed course, scenic lift rides, hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding and fly-fishing on blue-ribbon trout streams. When the resort is blanketed in winter’s white (mid-November through mid-April) skiers and snowboarders take to the slopes: all 180+ runs and 4,350 vertical feet spanning three mountains and 3,812 acres. Combined with Moonlight Basin Big Sky offers the Biggest Skiing in America with 5,512 acres.
Economy to luxury accommodations range from standard hotel rooms to spacious condominiums and opulent penthouse suites. 55,000 total square feet of meeting and function space can accommodate groups of up to 750 guests. Big Sky can host meetings for up to 750 attendees and lodging for 2,000 guests. The centrally located Yellowstone Conference Center houses a large ballroom, amphitheater and series of smaller breakout rooms. The Summit Hotel offers 3,000 square feet of meeting space. To unwind after a day of meetings or activities, Solace Spa at Big Sky offers a full menu of massage and spa treatments that combine the power of natural remedies with the healing element of touch.
